Yesterday was a beautiful day in Martinez, CA. After spending the good portion of my morning harvesting and crushing grapes for this year’s harvest, running the usual errands and tending to some household chores, I grabbed my camera and headed to the Martinez Marina and Shoreline Park. It’s amazing the beauty you can find in your every day surroundings if you just open your eyes.

The highlights for me::
“Breaking Through” pops the themes to miami vice or magnum pi into my head. I love palm tree pics, I suppose it’s cos we don’t get much sun here lol
“Birds on a wire” it’s amazing to be able to see birds in a tree. Our trees are so dense you only get to hear them
“Vista” is an amazing shot. The colours are so vivid, yet it screams tranquility to me, the kind of place I need to just sit, think, relax in, and just watch the world go by. Not to mention it would make a good windows wallpaper!!
“Sustenance” I love the level of detail on the flutterby, is that a normal shot or a macro shot?
